At Ocean Way Audio, we’re constantly on the lookout for new ways to use our acclaimed loudspeaker technology in applications from home/project recording studios to the highest end of commercial recording facilities, award-winning high-fidelity home entertainment, and more. But with the introduction of our AeroWave Large Venue Sound System Technology, we wanted to spread the word about this revolutionary new speaker system that’s designed for live sound reinforcement.
That’s why OWA did our first-ever exhibit at this year’s InfoComm Show. InfoComm is the largest professional audiovisual trade show in North America, with thousands of products for audio, unified communications and collaboration, display, video, control, digital signage, home automation, security, VR, and live events. In other words, it’s the place to be for manufacturers, installers, and creative professionals who work in the world of live sound for theaters, arenas, stadiums, and other large venues where great live sound is a requirement.

InfoComm 2023 was held from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Being at the show to learn more about the needs of the live sound world, Ocean Way had a relatively small booth. We were not at all ready for the incredible reception that the AeroWave system received at the show. Our booth was constantly busy, packed with audio professionals who were able to see the Ocean Way Audio AeroWave AW9045, the world’s first high-efficiency, fully horn-loaded, high-powered, single-source, high-fidelity, large venue sound source with engineered and fully-dependable acoustic directivity in both vertical and horizontal directions.

Additionally, visitors to our InfoComm booth were able to chat with acoustic designer Cliff Henricksen, OWA’s director of new technologies and creator of the AeroWave. Not only did they walk away with an even higher level of enthusiasm about this incredible new solution for live sound reinforcement, but also were able to make plans for follow-up details with American Music & Sound, who is the exclusive distributor for AeroWave.

So, while this was Ocean Way Audio’s first trip to InfoComm, it almost certainly won’t be our last. For more information on AeroWave, contact American Music & Sound today.
